Spring for Dummies: Enabling Business Developers

As users become more tech-savvy their ability and desire to build their own applications grows. Gartner predicts that by 2014, business developers will build at least 25% of new business applications. Commonly these applications must access and update corporate data sources. Increasingly business developers want to deliver mobile solutions. Gone are the days of under the desk Access applications. IT needs to enable, manage, and control these applications to ensure standards for security, reliability, and maintainability. This session will describe the kinds of people who should build applications and the types of applications they can build. We'll demonstrate using real world examples, integrating services from vCenter Orchestrator into a business developer application developed using WaveMaker.

We'll also show how Spring developers can extend WaveMaker applications to meet enterprise requirements.
