Spring MVC is one of the most popular web frameworks in enterprise Java, successfully being deployed in thousands of production applications and used by millions of developers. Spring Roo delivers a set of integrated, highly-productive tooling for those developers building REST-based Spring MVC applications than can serve JavaScript, Flash, and Desktop (.NET/Swing) clients. In Spring Roo 1.1 there were significant improvements made to Roo's Spring MVC support, including fine-grained, incremental round-tripping of individual JSP elements, new integration with JQuery, and better workflow features.
