An excellent panel session on Cloud Computing

I just caught this Cloud Computing panel discussion on InfoQ, was nice to hear soem true honestly about the 'barriers to exit' when it comes to moving to the cloud.

Also a big takeaway for me was the emphasis on security being the most common factor to consider and get right. Not that that is particularly surprising, but it does fall directly in line with what I've been hearing from my clients. In fact, security is often the only blocker required, I've even heard "if we say we'll go to the cloud, we can say goodbye to our customers".

It looks to me that there's a very real opportunity to come up with a great cloud security proposition. The question is, who's going to get to the plate first...
