CouchDB goes mobile

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with two super smart guys working for CouchOne (FYI, CouchOne was founded by Damien Katz, the creator of CouchDB). In this conversation, hosted by IBM developerWorks, Nitin Borwankar and Aaron Miller discuss the effort to port CouchDB to the Android platform and more importantly, why you should care that they’ve done this.

Have a listen to this podcast and get the details on CouchDB — a full-stack application environment, written in Erlang, and recently ported to Android. And while you are at it, read “REST up with CouchDB and Groovy’s RESTClient.”
