Hackergarten @ JFokus 2013

Good news everyone! There will be a Hackergarten session at JFokus!

What's Hackergarten? In short, it's your chance to make a positive impact in an Open Source project of your choice. Hackergarten meetings are all about having fun, meeting new friends, learning new skills and making the world a better place, one code patch at a time. Opposed to previous incarnations in past conferences, Hackergarten @ JFokus is scheduled for two days! We'll begin on Monday at 9am and close shop by 5pm, resuming Thursday morning after the keynote (11am), closing down by 6pm so that everyone can join BOF sessions, beers and the rest of fun things that JFokus have in store for the evening.

Hackergarten contributions have been sent to the following projects in the past: Groovy, Grails, Griffon, Gradle, Spock, JbossForge, Intellij IDEA, NetBeans, ScalaFX, C.R.a.S.H and more. Come join us for a full day of fun and open source goodness. Let your voice be heard. So bring your laptop and enjoy the ride.

We have confirmation from Hans Dockter, Noam T. Yenne, Gerrit Grünwald as attending project leads. A few other conference speakers will join us through out the day. So, don't by shy and drop by the Hackergarten room. Bring your laptop, bring your ideas and enthusiasm. Let's hack some code and make the world a better place, one commit at a time.

See you there!
